Ditch the extra sugar and the canned cranberries and spend 15 minutes taking fresh cranberries to a whole new level. We guarantee this will make the Thanksgiving menu every year!
- 1 pound fresh cranberries
- 1 C freshly squeezed orange juice
- Zest of 1 orange
- ½ C pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp Disaronno, brandy or orange liqueur
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- In a small saucepan over medium high heat combine all ingredients except for the orange zest. Bring to a boil and reduce to low, cover and continue to cook for 12-15 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and set aside to cool, garnish with orange zest.
