Ever feel like having a popsicle for breakfast?? Well now you can and you don’t even have to feel weird about it! These healthy little yogurt treats are filled with real fruit, sweetened with a touch of agave and have the crunch of granola. We used vanilla maple granola from Jessica’s Natural Foods which was the icing on the cake…or I guess the icing on the popsicle! The kids thought these were the best thing ever and loved waking up in the morning to have a popsicle for breakfast.
We made two different flavors with this batch, strawberry and peach. You can switch it up and use your favorite fruit of the moment, or whatever you happen to have in your fruit basket or fridge. I’m thinking we are going to try raspberry or mango next time. To make these yogurt pops you need a popsicle mold, either plain greek or plain regular yogurt, fresh fruit, granola and agave or honey to sweeten things up a bit. Assemble everything together and freeze for about 3 hours or so and you too can be eating a popsicle for breakfast!
