No, you didn’t read the title wrong….we really did have a Get Sweaty and Eat Balls event at Fit36!! Fit36 is a 36 minute combo class made up of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and MRT (Metabolic Resistance Training). It’s a butt kicking total body workout and it’s FUN!
We spend a lot of time at Fit36 working off the food we are always eating so we thought it was about time that we team up with the studio for a combo event. Fit36 brought the workout and we brought the balls, it was the perfect mashup!!
We set up shop on Wednesday morning and packed the 8am and 9am classes full with current members and tons of GTK friends. We were instructed by their lead trainer, Bryan, who is incredibly motivating but also pushes you to your limits. After everyone worked their butts off in class we had an assortment of our gluten free and refined sugar free protein balls for some post workout fuel. Naturally there were a lot of schweaty ball jokes to be had. I mean, it’s kinda hard to not joke about it, right?!
Check out all of these awesome sweaty peeps, still smiling after a major bootie kicking class!! The event was such a success that Fit36 invited us back to hit up the evening classes since they were feeling a bit left out. If you are an AZ local and missed our morning event at the studio you will definitely have to join us for the upcoming evening event. We haven’t announced the date yet so stay tuned!!
