You literally chop up all the ingredients then add them to the ground chicken in a medium bowl. Use your hands to mix it all up. Make sure not to over mix as it will make the burgers tough. Tough burgers are a no no. Just form the ingredients into patties.
Cook them for about 4-5 minutes per side. Then serve on a bun with the tzatziki and your other favorite toppings. For us, it was fresh tomatoes, red onion and cucumbers. We also like to toast our buns…ha ha ha. Toasty buns! Wow, it must be getting late.

- 1 C Fage 0% Greek yogurt
- ¼ large English cucumber
- 1 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
- zest of ½ lemon
- 1 Tbsp chopped dill
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- 2 lbs ground lean chicken
- 1 C spinach, chopped
- ½ C feta cheese, crumbled
- ¼ C red onion, finely minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- whole wheat buns
- *Optional Garnish- sliced cucumbers, sliced red onion, sliced tomatoes
- In a medium bowl add yogurt. Using a box grater, grate the cucumber. Squeeze excess juice from grated cucumber with a thin dish towel, cheesecloth or with your hand. Add the cucumber and all remaining ingredients to the yogurt. Mix to incorporate all ingredients.
- Add ground chicken, chopped spinach, feta, red onion and garlic to a bowl. Use your hands to mix ingredients together, be careful not to overmix.
- Form into 6-8 equal size patties, depending on how large you prefer.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for approximately 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Add patty to bun, top with tzatziki and preferred garnishes. Serve immediately.
